The SAGE Encyclopedia of Children and Childhood Studies (expected publication 2019) will bring together, under one cover, an impressive array of topics, methods and perspectives definitive of contemporary approaches to the study of children and their childhoods.

Transnational and transdisciplinary in scope and content, these dynamic and comprehensive five volumes draw on the broad and varied expertise of key scholars and practitioners in the field. The Encyclopedia will be of great value to those working and teaching in a variety of fields, from literary studies to psychology, social welfare to geographies, history to post-colonial and gender studies.

Authors are needed for a diverse range of entries from 1,000 – 5,000 words in length. This is a great opportunity for graduate students, new scholars, and experts in the field.
