Emily Keijzer completed her L.L.M. in Human Rights Law and Transitional Justice at Ulster University in Northern Ireland in 2019, and her B.A.4 in Human Rights and Global Studies at University of Winnipeg in 2016. her research interests include the use of transitional justice in settler colonial societies, particularly as a method of resisting decolonisation. She conducted research for Dr. Thomas Hansen’s article “Opportunities and Challenges Seeking Accountability for War Crimes in Palestine under the International Criminal Court’s Complementarity Regime” published in the Notre Dame Journal of International & Comparative Law. She is currently serving on the peer review editorial board for Intersections Postgraduate Journal for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Ulster University.
