RISE is a research program on inclusive and anti-oppressive education in the area of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, Two-Spirit, queer and questioning (2SLGBTQ+) youth. Driven by a strong emphasis on social justice and human rights, RISE aims to make such research accessible and to identify best practices for researchers, educators, and citizens alike for improving the lives of 2SLGBTQ+ youths and ending discrimination based on sexual and gender orientation.

CRYTC affiliate Dr. Catherine Taylor is the lead researcher of the RISE research program, and her project manager, Chris Campbell, is based in CRYTC.
